Please be advised that the interview process and employment interviews for Future Test, Inc. are conducted in person, on site at our facility. Future Test, Inc. does not hire remote employees. We do not ask you to download or signup with any program for consideration for employment or request personal information through email or over the phone. Furthermore Future Test, Inc. does not pay in Crypto currency.

Additionally, we request you contact Future Test to alert us of a potential fraudulent posting as we will pursue legal action.

Electronic Assembler

Job Description:

Assemble circuit boards, cables and small mechanical assemblies of various sizes and complexity, inspect products to ensure high quality and workmanship. It is essential to have the ability to hand solder extremely small components, therefore, good eyesight and hand dexterity is a must.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Assemble PCBs with SMT and through-hole components
  • Build cable assemblies
  • Rework

 Qualifications:

  • Ability to hand solder extremely small components
  • Read/understand assembly drawings/instructions
  • Basic math and measuring skills
  • Speak, read and write English fluently
  • Excellent hand soldering skills
  • Identify electronic components, polarity, color code and value
  • Excellent hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Attention to detail
  • One or more years of experience

A written as well as a hands-on skill test will be given as part of the interview process.

 Working Environment: Production area is clean, well-ventilated, and air conditioned. Employee will have his/her own work station. Management will provide all necessary tools and equipment. Some projects will require use of safety equipment such as, but not limited to, protective eye wear.

Physical Requirements: The job duties may require an employee to sit for extended periods of time, use hand dexterity to assemble projects, and visually inspect work.

Education: High School diploma or GED

Experience: Equivalent combinations of education and experience that provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be evaluated on an individual basis.

Electronics Technician

Job Description:

Perform testing and troubleshooting from established procedures using various automatic test equipment and schematics, engineering drawings, and written/verbal instruction. It is essential to understand how transistors and diodes function.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Operate related electronic and mechanical equipment to test and validate product
  • Use predetermined methods, sequences, set-ups to inspect and test production making necessary modifications and adjustments
  • Troubleshoot problems to the component level
  • Recommend changes or modifications to improve quality of product
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance as needed
  • Perform other related / routine duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Well versed in using Windows based PCs
  • Fundamental knowledge of electronic components (must understand how transistors and diodes function)
  • Able to collect and assess measurements of a circuit board to isolate failure to a faulty component
  • Previous experience in testing and troubleshooting electronic circuit boards
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering documentation including basic schematics and block diagrams
  • Possess trouble-shooting skills to the component level using basic test equipment such as a digital multi meter
  • Knowledge of Ohm’s Law
  • Detail oriented and well organized

Machine Operator / Entry Level

Job Description:

Operate and tend CNC mill and lathe machines

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Read work orders to determine specifications of a project
  • Run machines according to printed procedures
  • Load work pieces into machines
  • Position, align, and secure work pieces against fixtures or stops on machine beds
  • Start machines, monitor their operations, and record operational data
  • Measure completed work pieces to verify conformance to specifications using micrometers,
  • Gauges and calipers
  • Examine completed work pieces for defects
  • Maintain, clean, and lubricate machines
  • Other duties that may be assigned
  • Comply with OSHA and company safety rules

Qualifications:

At least one year of relevant machining experience.

Working Environment:

Machining area is clean, well-ventilated, and air conditioned. Management will provide all necessary tools and equipment. Some projects will require use of safety equipment such as, but not limited to, protective eye wear.

Physical Requirements:

  • Extended periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associates degree OR completion of related apprenticeship program preferred
  • Completion of on-the-job training may be substituted for educational requirements
