Please be advised that the interview process and employment interviews for Future Test, Inc. are conducted in person, on site at our facility. Future Test, Inc. does not hire remote employees. We do not ask you to download or signup with any program for consideration for employment or request personal information through email or over the phone. Furthermore Future Test, Inc. does not pay in Crypto currency.

If you believe you have been a victim of recruitment fraud, we recommend you contact the job board that posted the position, flag and submit an Abuse report through the site. Additionally, we request you contact Future Test to alert us of a potential fraudulent posting as we will pursue legal action.

Electronic Assembler

Job Description:

Assemble circuit boards, cables and small mechanical assemblies of various sizes and complexity, inspect products to ensure high quality and workmanship. It is essential to have the ability to hand solder extremely small components, therefore, good eyesight and hand dexterity is a must.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Assemble PCBs with SMT and through-hole components
  • Build cable assemblies
  • Rework

 Qualifications:

  • Ability to hand solder extremely small components
  • Read/understand assembly drawings/instructions
  • Basic math and measuring skills
  • Speak, read and write English fluently
  • Excellent hand soldering skills
  • Identify electronic components, polarity, color code and value
  • Excellent hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Attention to detail
  • One or more years of experience

A written as well as a hands-on skill test will be given as part of the interview process.

 Working Environment: Production area is clean, well-ventilated, and air conditioned. Employee will have his/her own work station. Management will provide all necessary tools and equipment. Some projects will require use of safety equipment such as, but not limited to, protective eye wear.

Physical Requirements: The job duties may require an employee to sit for extended periods of time, use hand dexterity to assemble projects, and visually inspect work.

Education: High School diploma or GED

Experience: Equivalent combinations of education and experience that provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be evaluated on an individual basis.

Special Requirements, Licenses, and Certifications: Soldering certification(s) preferred
